What is VITAMIN D3 actually?

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin, with vitamin D3 – chemists call it cholecalciferol – being the most important. The D vitamins contribute to the normal function of the immune system, to the maintenance of normal teeth and normal muscle function as well as to the maintenance of normal bones and normal calcium levels in the blood and have a function in cell division.

The human body can produce this vitamin itself from cholesterol - provided it gets enough sun, otherwise a vitamin D deficiency can occur. Because humans need UV light for the body's own production of vitamin D3.

Our high-quality vitamin D3 has laboratory-tested 1000 IU (25 µg) of high-quality pure vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) per drop. The vitamin K2 has laboratory-tested 40 µg per drop. With 1,700 drops (50 ml) you get a long-term supply of high-dose vitamin D3+K2.
