What actually is MAGNESIUM?

The mineral magnesium is essential for us, i.e. vital. Since the body cannot produce magnesium itself, the mineral must be supplied via food on a daily basis.

Magnesium contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to normal functioning of the nervous system, normal muscle function and the maintenance of normal bones and theeth.

PURETANICALS magnesium is bound to oxide, which is formed during the combustion of magnesium.

According to a study by Shechter in 2012, magnesium oxide has a very high bioavailability. In this study, magnesium oxide could lower the LDL cholesterol and total cholesterol level and at the same time increase the magnesium level better than magnesium citrate did. (Shechter et al. (2012)).
